Light up the Unsilent Night!

Facebook event:

Come celebrate the lighting of West Bridge Park and kick off the winter/holiday season by joining us this Sat 12/1 at 4:30 for a community stroll up and down Walnut to the ethereal instrumental composition "Unsilent Night" by composer Phil Kline.  His music becomes a moving sound sculpture, as participants play the 4 overlapping tracks simultaneously, on their personal devices as we stroll along.  It will be a truly singular immersive experience, combining community and music as we take in the lights together.

We'll start and end at West Bridge Park, where there will be a bonfire & cocoa.  We'll end Unsilent Night under the bridge along the river, then head back to the bonfire for more cocoa and to maybe even sing some holiday favorites together.

Light up yourself for this event using battery powered lights to make it even more glowy and fun.  Bring a treat to share if you'd like, or some marshmallows to roast.  Download the 4 tracks ahead of time if possible.  We'll provide instructions right before the event for those who need a hand.

Monticello! There are more than 30 other cities doing Unsilent Night with you. Share photos and videos of yours with the rest of the worldwide community.
