Join us at MontiArts (213 W Broadway, Monticello) at 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 1st for Phil Kline's Unsilent Night, an ethereal, 4-part 40 minute composition intended to be played simultaneously on individual devices by a crowd, outdoors, in winter, on a community stroll. We'll help anyone who hasn't already loaded the tracks to their phone, and then set out for our stroll. Afterwards, we'll have cider, cocoa and treats at MontiArts, where there is also a sale of local art going on, and visit and meet new friends and neighbors. This is a perfect way to kick off 2023 in a low key, unique, friendly way with your family. Dress warm. Glowiness strongly encouraged; wear/bring battery operated lights/lanterns.
